1. Program/Health:
  • AMDA fully participated on Participatory Assessment (FGD) of different age groups in Beldangi and Sanischare on 27th-28th of February and 2nd of March, 2023 such as elderly group(Above 60 years),  mix group(31-59 years), Female(18-30 years), Male(18-30 years), School students and 12-17 years mix group children. The discussions on issues of each sector such as Security, Health, Education, Livelihood and its control mechanism were identified with individual participation of refugee community.
  • Monitored Health and Wash Activities in Sanischare camp on National campaign of Anti-Filariasis and Under 5 years full vaccination data on 27th of February, 2023. The campaign shall continue for 10 days from 23rd of February with mass drug administration (Diethylcarbamazine, Ivermectine and Albendazole) at hut to hut visits for full coverage.
  • AMDA participated in meeting at Damak Municipality on International Women Day Celebration with different other stakeholders on 28th February, 2023. The discussion was done on program planned for the day which include oratory contest for school students on the theme of the day.
  • AMDA participated in Wheel chair distribution program at Damak Municipality on 1st March, 2023. 13 refugees from Beldangi were able to receive assistive devices (wheelchair and crutches) for physical disabilities according to their measurement. The program was Province level supported by Rotatory, Nepal and Cao Zhong Zhi Foundation, Taipei.
  • AMDA participated in monthly meeting with UNHCR on 2nd March, 2023. The discussion was done on Health Insurance Renewal mechanism in every cycle, BRCF confirmation and other activities achieved throughout following month.
 
 
 
 
2. CBOs/CMC:
  • BRWF team participated in training of Anti-Filariasis Campaign and is at fully lead role to run campaign inside both Beldanig and Sanischare camp with support of SMC, ECDC and other CBOs.
