Program/Health:
 
  • Psychosocial Counselor provide psychosocial support to refugee population every Monday and Tuesday in Beldangi settlements whereas Thursday in Sansichare settlements per week. The total of 4 individuals with 2 follow up from Beldangi and 3 individuals from Sansichare received counselling in this week.
  • AMDA observed street drama on substance abuse organized by BRCF at Beldangi on 15th of April. The participants from BRCF in role play was 54 children and concept of the drama showed comparisons of year 2008 and recent year in Beldangi Settlements. They showed much more enthusiasm than expected with only limitation in equipments to hear out voices to each corner.
  • Monitor Health Activities: National Campaign on Vitamin A and Deworming for 6 months to under 5 years children was observed in Beldangi organized by BRWF in coordination with Damak Municipality. The total of 102 children took Vitamin A and Deworming medicine. In Sansichare the campaign is planned for 22nd of April.
 
CBOs/SMC
  • AMDA along with LWF, CBOs, Sejal and Sister, Sector Heads participated in Interagency meeting organized by Settlement Management Committee on 17th of April, 2024 at Beldangi. The discussion was on previsous and upcoming program updates from respective organizations, challenges(Increased rate of deaths in Beldangi) and budget support by Sejal and Sister LLC for pilot program to SMC, CWT, BRWF, BRCF, Karate Club, BRAD of Beldangi with inclusion of Sanischare from July, 2024 after success of Beldangi pilot program.
  • BRWF took the lead role in coordination and arrangements to cover Bhutanese children in National Campaign of Vitamin A and Deworming inside Beldangi Settlements.
  • BRAD of Beldangi in coordination with Tarabari Adarsa School Principal visited School premises to observe the surroundings of school environment and identified that to admit the refugee children in School also Damak Municipality must provide Identitiy Card of Disability to children.
  • BRCF organized Coordination and Information Sharing meeting at Beldangi on 18th of April, 2024 at Office, Beldangi with participation from AMDA, SMC, Sejal and Sister LLC and CBOs to discuss on the data collection for Education Allowances, new admissions, drop-out students status to rejoin and  upcoming Football Tournament to Children i.e Boys(Under 14) and Girls(Under 18) Category under the budget support of Sejal and Sister LLC.
