Strengthen systems for planning, monitoring, evaluating and assuring the quality of programs for FSWs, Client of FSWs and PLHIV.
AMDA-Nepal adhere to LINKAGES Nepal monitoring system which consists of comprehensive data collection, compilation, reporting and analysis, use of project-based unique IDs (UICs) to track the services utilized by FSWs, clients of FSWs and PLHIV, Data Quality Assessment (DQA), analysis and use of data for reporting as well as program planning and decision making. AMDA- Nepal maintain standard record keeping according to FHI 360 Nepal and LINKAGES Nepal Project reporting guidelines for CoPCT services. This includes demographic, behavioral, medical, counseling, education/information records with appropriate record storage and security as per the national guidelines and SOPs. AMDA- Nepal ensure necessary staffing for high quality HIV care, support and treatment service delivery and project management and monitoring.
AMDA-Nepal, in collaboration with Sahara Nepal prepare, analyze and use CoPCT cascade on quarterly basis based on the guidelines developed by and with support from LINKAGES Nepal for program improvement. The analysis will focus on the progress, possible reasons for leakages and barriers to access services and way forward to address the gaps. The findings of the analysis will also be shared at the district levels. This analysis will also help to strengthen systems and practices for collection, analysis and use of data at the local levels.
AMDA-Nepal also conduct supportive supervision and monitoring of project activities and services as well as recording to ensure the quality. LINKAGES Nepal project staff will regularly conduct supportive supervision and on-site coaching support to AMDA-Nepal. AMDA-Nepal also organize and facilitate monitoring visits from DPHO and District AIDS Coordination Committee (DACC).
AMDA- Nepal regularly perform internal program data analysis and use for program monitoring, planning and improvement, including regularly documenting the accomplishments, lessons learned, good practices and success stories and sharing with LINKAGES Nepal. In particular, AMDA-Nepal work with Sahara Nepal and LINKAGES to conduct quarterly analyses of HIV yield and adjust outreach efforts according to those analyses. Furthermore, clients who test HIV+ will be monitored for their ARV initiation and adherence over time. AMDA-Nepal use Most Significant Changes (MSC) techniques to document success, good practices and lessons learned. AMDA- Nepal prepare and submit Project Indictor Form (PIF) and quarterly narrative report to LINKAGES Nepal as per the agreed deadline. AMDA-Nepal and LINKAGES Nepal staff jointly conduct DQA semiannually at selected sites for a set of key indicators using a standard DQA process and tools to ensure the quality of program performance data. AMDA-Nepal also conduct quarterly performance data verification.
AMDA-Nepal conduct quarterly review meeting to review progress and to identify issues and challenges and chart ways-forward to address the gaps, issues and challenges. AMDA-Nepal also participate in regional bi-annual sharing, review and coordination meetings conducted by LINKAGES Nepal.
AMDA continue to provide technical assistance as needed to those LINKAGES partners providing clinical services to ensure services are of high quality and following standard guideline.
