Increase availability of Prevention, care and Treatment (PCT)
To ensure increased availability of comprehensive prevention, care and treatment services, including reliable coverage across the continuum of care for FSWs, clients of FSWs and PLHIV, AMDA Nepal implement activities as follows:
HTC, STI screening and treatment, and referral and follow-up for anti-retroviral therapy (ART) services will be continued and further strengthened. Static clinic will be reduced from three to two (discontinued in Morang district). Static clinics will be replaced with mobile clinics and number and frequency of mobile clinics will be increased. Partner referral and testing will be further strgethened to increase HIV-positive case finding. Case management of PLHIV with peer navigation, HIVST will be introduced as new activities.
The following activities that are being implemented from the FY18 onward:

The following activities that are being implemented from the FY18 onward:
- Provide HTC and STI services to FSWs and clients of FSWs and case management service to PLHIV through static clinic and HTC services through mobile clinic to FSWs, and clients of FSWs.
- Provide facilitated referral and follow-up to PLHIV identified from static and mobile clinic to the nearest ART center for care, support and treatment.
- Refer and follow-up PLHIV for PMTCT, TB diagnosis and treatment, CD4 count, viral load testing and livelihood opportunities.
- Mobilize peer navigator to provide education/information for adherence, retention and positive prevention and to refer for care, support and treatment for PLHIV and to provide risk reduction education among discordant couples and refer HIV negative partner for HIV test.
- Participate in and support the promotion and implementation of HIVST based on the findings and recomendation of the pilot initiative conducted by LINKAGES Nepal.
