USAID Sustainable HIV Epidemic Control
Association of Medical Doctors of Asia AMDA-Nepal has been working in HIV prevention care and support programs for over 25 years, yet we find challenges around HIV epidemic control amongst KPs and PPs. HIV related stigma and discrimination (S&D), low awareness about HIV prevention and treatment, fear of disclosure with family and friends, low knowledge about the availability of services, low health seeking behavior and poor economic conditions of KPs and PPs are some of the major challenges of HIV control in Nepal. USAID Sustainable HIV Epidemic Control will work to address these challenges.
