  • PsychoSocial Counselling data till date is as follows where this week(16th to 22nd Sep) 3 individuals and 4 follow up from Beldangi, 2 individuals from Sanischare and 1 follow up from Host Community received counselling. The data below covers for March to September till date. The service covers all census absentee, non-entry and national residing in both settlements and Nationals of host community.

  • AMDA along with SMC and CBOs of both Beldangi and Sansichare attended meeting under mission to Koshi of UNHCR on 18th of September. The discussion focused on current challenges such as ID card renew, date of birth in ID card, new born children photo update, territory issue with host community and issues on mental health and increased number of GBV cases.
  • AMDA with representative of SMC and CBOs from both settlements attended Coordination meeting with stakeholders on 19th of September at Hotel Kamakshya, Damak organized by LWF. The representative from various sectors such as Chife District Office, Forestery, Internal Revenue Office, Nepal Electricity Authority, RCU, Mayor from Damak and Pathri-Sanischare Municipality, relevant Ward Chairperson and Ward secretary etc were present to discuss issues on relative sectors.
 
CBOs/SMC
  • BRWF of Beldangi organized 1 event of GBV awareness on 17th of September with total 30(19 Male and 11 Female) committee members of SMC and SWT participation under AMDA/UNHCR support. The importance of mental health and counseling was also highlighted for the participants by AMDA Psychosocial Counselor.
  • BRCF  of Sansichare organized acting training  from 19th to 21st September under Sejal and Sister LLC support. The participants in training shall work as team for drama on toipc substance abuse, child marriage and GBV under AMDA/UNHCR budget in coming week.
