Sanischare camp:
As of 31 October 2018, there are some 1,432 Bhutanese refugee residing in Sanischare camp, which represent about 21.59% of total refugee population. AMDA has no presence in Sanischare camps. Refugees’ from Sansichare access health services through public health facilities (Pathri health post and Mangalbare hospital). One mental health prescriber is stationed at Pathri health center, and the services are available 5 days a week/8 hours a day between 09:00 A.M. and 05:00 P.M. In 2019, all chronic patients access Mangalbare Hospital for treatment and medicine. AMDA with support from UNHCR supports public health facilities to establish mental health unit as per the guidelines of Nepal government.

Referral will be provided until the health insurance is implemented. Ambulance service is provided to emergency cases when referred to public hospital. Other services (OPD cases, MCH, ANC, PNC, FP, and Immunization, emergency during daytime, and injection and dressing) have been incorporated in Pathari Health Post and Mangalbare hospital.
 
Sanischare refugee camp population has been included in the health population planning figures of Pathari/Sanischare Municipality. AMDA will make sure that refugees are included in all health activities conducted by the Municipality such as mass screening, immunization and importantly to be covered by the Female Volunteer Community Health Workers.
