Epidemic preparedness and response:
To reduce mortality and morbidity due to epidemics, AMDA in coordination with UNHCR will:

Train refugee and national health workers in epidemic preparedness and response
Support social mobilization and training of community health volunteers at sentinel sites
Develop and distribute standard case management protocols for epidemic diseases
Support public health facilities, municipalities in conducting activities to prevent epidemics
Conduct mass campaign and information sessions through community health units in the camps
Whenever possible stockpiles of supplies for potential outbreaks including rehydration fluids, vaccinations, and drugs
Ensure Epidemic Investigation kits and Epidemic Response kits are available in public health facilities
