1. Training on Infection Prevention and Control

AMDA PHCP successfully organized Training on Infection Prevention and Control for Three Days from 25th to 27th September 2019. Total participants were 6. Among them 4 were from Host Community (Damak Hospital, Aam Chowk and Pathri Hospital). The Facilitator  were from Province – 1 Health Office, Biratnagar.
 
2. Implementation of Nutrition Survey Recommendation 2018

AMDA PHCP organized one day orientation on Nutrition to Community Health Worker (CHW), Female Community Health Volunteer (FCHV) on 23rd September 2019. Total 16 participants were presented. Among them one Female Community Health Volunteer (FCHV) from Damak Municipality participated.
 
3. Dengue "Search & Destroy" Program

A rally was organized by Damak Municipality in support of AMDA PHCP for BR and UNHCR on 22nd September 2019. Deputy Mayor, Health Coordinator of Damak Municipality, District Public Health Office, Jhapa representatives, Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs), AMDA PHCP and locals participated in the rally. Mass awareness was done through miking during the program. "Search & Destroy" activity was carried out and garages were inspected for possible sources of disease causing agent.
 
4. Disability Certification Program

Since 22nd September 2019 disability certification program was started and people with disabilities are being taken to BPKIHS, Dharan for medical examination. This is a continued program of AMDA PHCP for BR since 2016. Person with Disabilities (PWDs) are medically investigated and if proven disabled, are provided medical certificate according to the severity and type of disability. This year 123 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are targeted for disability certification which is the highest number of beneficiaries for a year till date.
 
5. Orientation to Community Health Worker (CHWs) and Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) of host community

On 26th September 2019, orientation to Community Health Worker (CHWs) and Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) of Sanischare Camp and Pathari Sanischare Municipality respectively was conducted in Pathari Sanischare Municipality on "Dengue Prevention and Control". The program was chaired by Mr. Dilip Kumar Rai, Mayor of Pathri Sanischare Municipality and special guest was Mrs. Yamuna Bista Bastola, Deputy-Mayor. The session was facilitated by Dr. Sushil Kumar Sah, Health Coordinator, AMDA PHCP, Mr. Murari Acharya, Health Coordinator, Pathari Sanischare Municipality and Ms. Usha Khatri, Disable/Community Officer, AMDA PHCP.  Total participants of the program were 45 including all the Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) of Pathari Sanischare Municipality. 

6. Dengue Awareness and Sanitation Program

Dengue Awareness and Sanitation Program was conducted in Sanischare camp on 27/09/2019. It was an inter-sector coordinated program with a presence of Camp Management Committee (CMC), Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Armed Police Force (APF), Lutheran World Federation  (LWF) and AMDA PHCP. During the program, people were given awareness on Dengue control and prevention. Possible sources identification and destroying was major concern of the program.
